Title: SoloStove series
Post by: catmanriff on February 03, 2017, 02:06:53 AM
An interesting approach to a rocket -type stove. Uses twigs, sticks, free fuel basically.

I thought I might get one, pack a ziplock bag of twigs and found fuel. Maybe for a one-pan breakfast or dinner. I love my butane Iwatani but this stove is intriguing...

Have you looked at a "Biolite", I have one and they work great. Little pricey, but in emergenceis you can use it to charge device's that use a USB port. Kelly Kettles are another option.

We love our Kelly Kettle! Managed to cook breakfast and dinner for 7 people on it, just last week, with nothing but twigs! I love that I can cook and boil water at the same time.
