Title: hi, FNG from S.Jersey
Post by: abodyjoe on January 02, 2017, 06:20:52 PM
my names joe.  last year we bought a subaru outback..    i'm stuck only being able to tow 2700 pounds.     i have been looking around for a lighter weight trailer that will work for me and the family..  i've narrowed it down to the QS 8.0 or the SylvanSport GO.    there are things i really like about both of them but in the end it seems the QS is the way to go for us..   so i'm here to find out as much as i can before dropping the coin on one..

I think you will be fine towing a QS 8 with an Outback. You will be well under its towing limits and the Outbacks are tough beasts anyway.

Good luck.

I tow my 6.0 with an Outback. It works.

Since I put mine up for the winter, I kept looking at bigger and fancier and heavier trailers as an upgrade. Then I realized that my lightweight camper is all I need. I'm not going to winter camp until after I retire.

I hope you enjoy your 8.0 when you get one.
