Looking for info to remove existing saucer shaped analog TV antenna from mu 2016 build TBS16. Wish to retain the existing vertical roof mount for adding cellular boost and egress. No external signs of how the existing top is secured to the roof mount. Will twist and turn slightly but not willing to use more force until I have a better understanding of attachment.

I did a google search and a few you tube videos showed up on how to remove an antenna but not your round one.

The saucer is just a friction fit on the metal extension, grab the antenna with two hands and give it a good pull up. It will come off pretty easily. Changed mine years ago. You should have a few inches of cable to work with. Don't let the cable slide down inside the tube mount.
Thanks so much. Will try to disconnect and keep the coaxial to feed the booster.
