Title: 21rbs torque nut pressure?
Post by: Lily on May 09, 2021, 08:18:34 PM
Hello All,
About to start our 1st shake-down camping adventure with the new 21rbs (new to us).  The manual suggests lug nut torque between 90 & 120? Lbs.  Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.  Also. what size socket for a 5 nut wheel? 3/4 looks like the best fit, but is metric the way to go? Thanks, Lily & Company

3/4 inch and 19mm sockets are interchangeable for the wheel lug nuts. Use a 6-sided 1/2" drive socket for the torque involved to ensure you don't damage lugs. The lug wrench will also fit the nut on top of the electric tongue jack if you should ever need the jack and have no DC power available.

And KUDOS to you for checking lug torque!  :)

And 90 ft-lbs is plenty for the aluminum wheel lug nuts.
