Title: Only one light will come on
Post by: delhowel on April 14, 2021, 01:44:44 PM
Hello,
I have a 2014 RDB and can not get all of the lights to come on, they use to all work. One light over the sink works but no others come on. Fuse looks good. Any suggestions would  be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance...

Well, even LED lights sometimes burn out. And while you are checking it, check for aluminum particles in the fixture that were left by the factory, although those usually work the other way- they turn the light on when the switch is off.

The light over the sink is the only one not on the master switch, so it will come on even when the master is off. There is a master light switch, somewhere near the door, that got turned off and unless that's on, no other lights will work with the switches at each fixture. That's my guess........

What Merlin said there is a master ceiling on/off switch in addition to the individual ceiling light switches.  Mine is by the door under the counter near the slide control switch.

What everyone else said. About aluminum particles short circuiting switching. Last year, even after 6 years of ownership, one of my ceiling lights that I hadn't removed and checked for particles, started flickering. Yessir, it was those darn aluminum molecules...GK
