The one page of factory supplied literature dealing with the care and maintenance of the roof says basically, do nothing but wash it with a mild soap solution and soft bristle brush. Thats it ? Sitting out in the FL sun I find that hard to believe, there's nothing to seal/preserve it -which won't damage it. I did see some tired looking caulk up there, and ordered 'the' Alpha systems 1024 caulk- pretty exorbitantly priced but figure- why take chances. We do plan to cover it- so maybe that's the best 'maintenance' one can do for these. If your roof caulk has some fairly significant cracks in it- but its still quite well bonded to the roof (and not disintegrating into powder like some I've seen) - do you do a caulk-over , or must it be removed and redone entirely ? IDK how that'd be accomplished w/o damaging the roof, actually....
