Title: Assateague Island National Park Campground
Post by: Chappy133 on October 11, 2020, 10:50:41 AM
First time here. We usually stay at the state park site.  Sites are more spread out and green. We are on the bayside. Only the C loop allows use of a generator. Walking distance to the bay.  We will be back.  The only problem is getting on to the park.  This place is getting a lot of visitors during the pandemic.

Where are the pics? ;)

Been in the mid-atlantic over 10 years now and still have not camped there.  Have stopped by on motorcycle rides a few times. But keep meaning to camp there...

Another pic.

Hitch up that horse and you'd have a 1HP tow rig. On the other hand, Pinstriper would claim that's not enough tow power.

Would that require WDH ??  ???

Likely not a WDH, but it would require a broom and bucket, for obvious reasons.

End of season trip in early November back to Assateague NP CG.  Camper is winterized until going to Florida in February.  Since I am retired now I can escape the Pennsylvania winters for a few weeks.
