Hi, my water heater was on this morning and working, I left it on for the day, in the evening while I wanted to do the dishes the water was cold. I checked and I still had some propane left, I even changed the propane tank for a full one to try. Still can't make my water heater work. Is there any troubleshooting I can do ?
I think the most common problem with outdoor gas appliances is a plugged gas inlet from insect and spiders. That's what I would check first.
Hi Merlin, how do we check that? The heater was on and working in the morning and I left it on, is it possible an insect went in while it was on? Also I check all fuses an they are fine. When I put the switch on nothing happen not even trying to lit and the red light next to the switch doesnt lit. Thank you for your answer
The next day I turned on my water heater again, it didn't start but I left it on, after 20 minutes or so it started! Not sure why it was so hard to start? But it is working now
