Hello All,
My wife and I are planning a 6 month cross Canada camping trip. Our only plan is to be in the Yukon for June 21 for Aboriginal Day. We will be posting pictures and trip reports.
Any suggestions on where we should go? Camp sites to avoid? Anyone want to meet along the way?
Regards,
Paul and Susan
If you come to New Brunswick let me know we could try to meet.
Sounds like great fun! My wife and I have really enjoyed our 2 major trips in Canada, one to the National Parks in the Atlantic maritimes and one to the National Parks in the Canadian Rockies. The National Parks have great camping. If you can possibly fit it in, don't miss the Icefields Parkway in Alberta between Banff and Jasper National Parks. There are at least 4 members on here from Calgary, so hopefully they will see your post.
Yup, If you are going to be in the Calgary area, Banff or Jasper (better yet, both) should be one (or two) of your stops.
Making reservations would be a good idea, they do fill up.
East of Calgary, Dinosaur Provincial Park is a unique area to check out (badlands and such)
South of here, well, Waterton lakes is up there too.
And drop a note, would love to meet up (if we can)
Chris

Like your quote. My Grandfather flew for the RCFC during the Great War (WWI).
