Title: Slide maintenance
Post by: gbpack on September 29, 2018, 03:22:59 PM
I know that this has been discussed in the past, but I can't find it. Is there something we need to do with the slide worm gear track to clean and lubricate it? Ours is sounding like it needs something. Thanks!

CRC High Performance Power Lube is the recommended product. Do a search on Shwintek slide and you will find lots of useful informstion on msintenance including some videos. Attached is the troubleshooting guide.

BTW, I used this Camco spray and didn't like it. The slide side mechanism and the bottom rollers get pulled into the camper when the slide is retracted, so smell is relevant. I found this spray too stinky.
