Door under bench
« on: July 09, 2020, 08:55:49 AM »
I am not sure why my unit didn't had door to access the storage under the bench? Maybe it's because I have the aluminum interior? Any recommendation on where I could find doors that fits?

You can only access it by lifting the bench

Challenger door will make you a door to your sizing and colour. All of my door panels have the paint code and details on the sticker.

Delivery to Canada may be tricky right now.

Sounds like the reason 2018's didn't get doors was yet another "cost saving" measure implemented by Thor! ;)

hm, I'm not sure why this post just showed up in my "unread posts" list when it's from last fall, but I just posted the below on another thread about under-dinette storage so maybe that's why??  Anyway, hope it might be helpful.

I don't know if it would work on the 21BHS dinette but on my 14DBS, AZCamper and I put in Ikea Sektion Maxmera 15" kitchen drawers.

We've only done one short trip with them and they haven't opened.  The soft close feature does make them harder to pull out, which I think helps the drawers stay in while traveling, but I'm looking around for something to add for a more positive "latch".  I focused on putting lighter things in the drawers too.

Though, if we ever end up driving through OK City on I-40, I will just plain save aggravation and take out the drawers and lay them on the bed!  Maybe the pots and pans above the fridge too!!  :o

Here's our 14DBS dinette with the side cut out:

Sorry but I uploaded this photo from the other side of the dinette and am too lazy to go find the one matching the other pictures that I posted.  :D

anyway, hope this might give some ideas.
