We picked up this XLP in June, and traveled with it until the end of November, 2016 - we planned to dip our toes in before committing to a full-time RV lifestyle with our four kids. We have now moved into a hard-sided camper. Therefore, sadly, our XLP is for sale -  technically a 2017 model.

Great things about the camper: It's got lots of the amenities of an RV, and the all-aluminum design is a good one! The tent allows maximum airflow when the panoramic windows are unzipped, and my husband refers to the camper as Hermione's Tent - there's a surprising amount of space inside. It's super lightweight - we towed it with ease, and never had a single problem with driving mechanicals...

The camper is yellow. It has an outdoor shower and an outdoor shelf, which is super great for an outdoor kitchen - and there's a propane quick-connect underneath, to which you can attach a low-pressure propane stove (such as those sold by Camp Chef).

We decided to forego the air conditioner because we wanted more storage, but we appreciated and used the other amenities - the stove, sink, water pump, water heater, furnace (very occasional use), fridge, and cassette toilet. We chose to get the aluminum deck floor.

Our mods: we went to a local metal fabricating place that installed tie-downs on the rear deck so that we could strap down a Contico black bin and kids' bikes. We also had them install a secure double-propane rack up front. We also got a Renogy solar panel (100w) and added a plug that is compatible with the Zamp plug on the outside of the Quicksilver. This was super great - with a small inverter that we purchased (tho we'll be keeping this), we were able to meet all of our power needs (lights, fans, computer and phone charging). We will be selling the Renogy panel as well (originally $260 or so; we'll ask $150).

Also available with the camper for $250 (originally $350) is a 4-bike Sixnall rack that sits on top of the camper and fits practically any style bike, including recumbents. This rack marred the tonneau cover a bit, but it was such a sturdy, well-designed that we were willing to scuff the cover up a bit to accommodate it.

We're currently camping in the southwest, and the Quicksilver is parked in Joshua Tree, CA. We'll be available to show the camper until April 20th, or until it sells! We're asking $10,000.

Hello!

We have been fans of the Quicksilver pop-ups since 2015, when we bought a used 10.0.

Last year, we had this crazy idea to sell our house and move into a camper with our four kids: http://www.lifeisapalindrome.com/updates/which-we-get-rid-95-our-possessions-3-weeks . Knowing that we'd need a few more features for extended travel, we sold the 10.0 and bought a brand new XLP, and over a six-month period we traveled around the country and headed toward Warmth for the Winter. As it turned out, we like our new outdoor lifestyle so much that it was time to graduate to a hard-sided camper for more extended travel.

Though we love our pop-up still, it just doesn't make sense for a full-time RVing family to own two campers with only one tow vehicle! So, we are (regretfully) readying our XLP for sale.

We're currently traveling in Southern California, so if you know anyone who might know anyone who wants to buy an awesome Quicksilver pop-up with the fine features of an RV (fridge, stove, hot water heater, furnace, cassette toilet, etc.), please pass along our contact info! Our XLP has a rear deck with tie-downs, a lovely dual-propane tank mod, and is looking for a happy home.
