You can always order the tow mirrors and install them yourself, thats the way I went with my old Dodge.

I didn't see the "like" button on your post, so I'll do a full reply and say LIKE on your '17 Ford order. But 3 months wait? Wow.

I will be surprised if it takes 3 months, I was told the same thing when I ordered my 16 F350, came in at 8 weeks. The dealers state that incase there is a delay in the making of the unit ordered, depending on the Truck order sometimes some of the options are not available or back ordered.
There is a site that Ford New Orders can be checked to find your progress on your Ordered Ford, all you need is your VIN Number which you should have by now.

Ordered my 2017 FORD F-150 XLT 3.5 eco 4 door with max tow package and BLIS  $$$ They say will take 12 weeks.

With a 10-Speed transmission, you won't be disappointed.

It came in Mar 1 and the Mar rebates went up a little plus a 24,000 mile/2year free oil change and such. I had a firm price when I ordered and the extra Mar rebate helped a little.  I then took my 2012 Tacoma over and said I want to trade it in. Salesman said well we already have the paper work done. Since I had the Tacoma in the parking lot with the title, they said take it over to the used car sale and get a price.  They started at 20,000 and we settled at 21,500.  I then saved 1200 plus on sales tax, so a pretty good deal as I got the truck for 27,000 plus tax. I feel good about the deal but the F-150 was not cheap with what I wanted on it.

Nice you took the longer bed (6.5 foot) I have the 5.5 foot, it's fine most of the time but sometime I wish I had the extra foot! Really nice truck!

My first new truck was a 1980 Toyota Hillux, I paid $8000, (which was too much). My first full size truck was a 1962 Chevy 3/4 ton, I paid $600 for that in 1977.Talk new truck sticker shock.

Good luck with your new truck, many happy carefree towing miles ahead!
