Title: Maxair vent cover
Post by: Paul on August 16, 2016, 11:56:55 AM
I have installed two Maxair vent cover! I was tired of having to close the vent because of the rain or wondering if I had closed them while I was away and returning to a trailer with a wet carpet. I took white even though black would have matched with the rest because it doesn't block the natural light

Paul - please let me know the part # for those vent covers.  Seems to be a good option.  I assume they have the Elixir style hinge?

I have these too. They are not hinged. They are fixed covers for the entire hinged vent assembly. Search for Maxxair on Amazon or RV Upgrades.

Have the same two on our 16 TBS.  We leave the vent covers up all the time except on chilly nights while camping during the early spring and late fall.

I ordered those Maxxair's from Amazon. Super easy to install.  Very pleased with them.  And I will probably keep the vents partially open while the trailer is at the outdoor storage place when not in use during the summer.

Those were the one I installed when I had a 2015 13QBB I think I bought them at a local RV shop.

same. i've had water come in during the bad rainstorms though, so i shut the one over the bed during storage. The bathroom one stays open to reduce the heat.
