Concerning the unusual wear pattern.
Check to make sure the load in your rig is evenly distributed.
And check the torque on the axle nut, mine was loose and seems to have been the culprit.

The radio in our 2014 DBS had a USB outlet built in, very handy.
USB of course is 5 vdc.
Camp on!

It is easy to add an outlet.

The IOTA 75A charger pulls 18A max!
75*12=900 watts. 900 watts /120 VAC =7.5 amps.
That is one horribly inefficient charger!
Your existing charger will not fully charge the batteries but you will probably be OK until you complete the project with solar.

My 14DBS came with a water heater only.
And why would you want to heat hot water?

We added a tank flush kit to our 14DBS.
And we use it every time we dump the tank.
I like things clean and we do not experience any odors.

This has held up very well for us.
You will need a larger storage container.

I have had great success using an E-acto knife.
First make a template the dimension of the opening then cut your opening a little small and trim to a perfect fit.
