Thanks

Anyone have a older one to compare.

I have a 2013 orbital front RDB. Will look next time I'm up at the seasonal site.

I haven't had the bubbling but could you take a high resolution photo and have a vinyl wrap printed and cut to match from one of the custom vehicle wrap shops?

So to be clear, you removed one of the mounting brackets and flipped the other one around so it went over the top of the jack, right? I'm looking at replacing the original fold down stabilizer jacks with scissor jacks.

Sorry for the delay, I've been away from the forum for a while.

Yes I just reversed the outward facing 90 degree brackets and drilled holes through both to line up over top of the jack frame. (you would have 2 L shaped 90 brackets nested creating a u shape attachment to bolt onto the aluminum frame mounts). I then reused teflon washers and stainless hardware with nylox nuts and locktite. I have to tighten every up few years but they have really held up well. This type of  set-up allows me to use the screw jacks on uneven ground and the trailer doesn't move around even on ice and snow. It also gives good support in storage and takes the load off of the torflex axles (not a big deal though).

same. i've had water come in during the bad rainstorms though, so i shut the one over the bed during storage. The bathroom one stays open to reduce the heat.

good find. I used the custom shop locally to have a bimini and cabin done up for the boat. Great to keep $$ in the community.

Has anyone tried to get orig dometic replacements parts? my spring is starting to go.

The ez lube hubs are great. I have them on my 13RDB . I think most of them (if not all) with the dexter torflex have the ez lubes. Each spring I run through both the campsite and boat trailer. 30 mins and I'm done. I've just noticed today i need a new rubber cap, so will be on the hunt this week to replace. I found this video on you tube for the ez lube bearing maintenance routine:

went with the same cheap camco ones and put a maxair2 over the vents.

Tim L,

i have a 13 RDB and added jacks to the orig box tube mounting spots. I ended up buying jacks from princess auto where i could flip the mounting brackets around to nest directly over the top and drilled new holes on the centre line. 5 years so far and no issues. The 13's are a pretty light trailer so I found I didn't need the extra width for mounting. I also ended up using stainless bolts vs screws fwiw. If I remember correctly I had teflon washers to stop corrosion from the factory. This mounting method also lets me easily switch them out if they get damaged or too rusty.

Paul,

Challenger door will make you a door to your sizing and colour. All of my door panels have the paint code and details on the sticker.

Delivery to Canada may be tricky right now.

We have 6 Sprinter RV chases used for command vehicles. The first 50K all good except for the fact that only the Mercedes dealer can work on the blue tec and are required to perform the PM at the dealer in order to keep the warranty. Once they get up to 100,000K they spend more time in the shop than on the road. The vans themselves have the emergency response package and the brakes are fine after multiple emergency responses each day. Day after day with no issues. We are switching to the transit on the next order as we only get 5-6 few years out of the sprinters before they are junk. They do get very hard use, but the mechanics in our shop hate them. For what it's worth. I still think they look cool.
How about an earth roamer?

As Mrs. Scout works for Parks Canada she was excited to see this. Great looking pics Paul. Fine looking Camp Lite as well. We had the fortune of stopping there last year with a borrowed 7.0 L ford coachman motorhome. Beautiful park loved the night time skies and the beach.

GK beautiful job. Love the idea of more light. We have a similar issue with our 13 RDB where the front really feels like a bit of a cave. I was thinking to do a side window at some point but it would be a while yet before I could do a big project. Did you have to relocate any electrical lines for the upper clearance lights?

I'm not in front of my CL right now, and your 14 DB may be a bit different than mine. E trailer.com had a few tips on their page here:https://www.etrailer.com/question-176378.html

Perhaps one of the longtime techie posters could chime in who have specific knowledge of the toilet flange that livin lite uses.

good luck
