Finally found the invoice for those interested.  As I have stated before we replaced the entry door on our 2016 21RBS.  Expensive and then we had our mobile rv tech guy to install it, more money there.   The door was $290 including screen door, skid fee $45, shipping $321.60, and tax $39.40, cha-ching total of $696.  We ordered it from Challenger Door out of Nappanee, IN. I tried to argue about the cost but they blamed it on Camplite trying to keep cost down and using inferior products.  Just wanted to share....

We just had a Winegard Sensor Wingman put on the 21RBS.  Before we only got 1 channel sitting in the yard and now we get 12! I do like the tv and news at night while in bed.  I was worried about how the dealership would install it, I certainly didn't want wires running down walls and things like that.  Dealership did the install because DH didn't want to tackle it.   Last time out camping I happen to notice the wall was wider between the microwave and pantry.  After looking around I noticed that each shelf in pantry has a panel and I found that is where the antenna wire comes in from the worthless, POS omni-directional antenna.  They did have to cut another hole in roof  about 2 inches from the original antenna. So now the crank up handle comes in at the top shelf of the pantry and I have an antenna that raises up about 2 feet with better reception.  My thinking was that once we get to our camping spot and we scan our channels we won't be moving the antenna anyway. We did the same thing with our TC and it's worked out great.   So far we replaced our entry door due to corrosion and the usb charging center.  Eventually we will have it top notch.  Cheers!

I am impressed with new screen door latch. We ordered q new entry door for our 2016 21RBS due to corrosion bug. The door came with frame, screen door, painted correct color and different latch.   No more sliding the little opening to open the screen door from the inside.  I looked it up on the Challenger door site.  Pricey at 27.50 but nice. Hopefully it holds up...

Camplite Truck Camper / Decisions on our TC
October 30, 2019, 11:32:24 PM
The TC is great to travel in but we recently, August, bought a 2016 21RBS also.  Me, the wife, is not totally sold on the tt yet.  DH likes the comfort of the tt and rightly so.  I have no problem towing or backing up either rig but wonder if it's worth it to keep both. We have downsized our toys lately, like the boat and buggy gone!  We still have the Harley trike though.  Each camper is in great shape and paid for but the pressure is on...lol.  I guess my fear is that if we sell TC I would never get another one that is like ours.  You can't beat all aluminum and no wood!  Just don't know if keeping 2 campers is worth it. So far I haven't agreed to anything...

Hello All,   As the subject line states we have acquired a 21RBS and have a few questions.  Looking underneath the trailer I see that the braces holding fresh water tank are steel not aluminum. Hmmm...Is that the way LL did the braces on this model?  We just replaced the entry door and it looks great.  Yes, the dreaded corrosion.  We purchased a new door from Challenger and had it shipped to us.  It was not our first rodeo on the entry door.  We also own a 2013 Camplite truck camper and that entry door was replaced under warranty, not with the trailer.  We really have to make sure that the trailer tilts a little to the slide side so that the water will drain off slide even though we have an awning on it.  Normal?  Sometimes the wiper seal doesn't pop out either.  Normal?  I guess all the antennas are really junk.  We put a winegard batwing on TC and are thinking about doing the same on the tt. Husband loves trailer and wifey, me loves the tc. So for now we are a 2 camplite family.  Thanks!

Thought I'd include a few pics of our toys and the main reason for our TC.   I just love traveling in it because it's so easy. We sleep like a baby in it too.  Ahhhh...my bed, my bathroom, and my cold AC.  8)

Just curious as we have done quite a few.  I want to see if there is any out there that we would like to do.
