It should be listed under suggested pages in the Facebook main menu as Marketplace.

Tried to join what? I don't understand. Facebook Marketplace doesn't require a membership.

Equipment for Sale/Trade / Class 5 Easy Lift
August 15, 2018, 03:01:45 PM
My father has a Class 5 Easy Lift set up that was originally purchased somewhere around 1970. It needs a new home. I have no idea what it is worth, and shipping it would involve several heavy boxes. Local pickup in the Birmingham, AL area would probably be best.

Discussions are welcome...

Ah, remembrances of when the family car was the tow vehicle...

My "family car" is my TV now. You just have to get a small enough camper. Quicksilver 8.1.

I've seen posts about apparent separation of the material layers (blistering) and "springiness" between the supporting framework / joists.

Nice rig.  Thanks for the photo & great info!
Thanks!

That one is probably going to a new home Saturday. We've enjoyed it a lot! Moving into an 8.1.

L-Track is used in commercial aircraft to mount the seats and secure anything that needs to be tied down. As I recall, each attachment point is rated for up to 2,000 pounds. Limited by what the track is mounted to.
I saw some recently in our local Northern Tool store.
This isn't the best picture of the track, but it's all I've got on my phone.

Large marine cooler sounds heavy. The location of the platform means you can't see it while driving. Doesn't sound like a good place to bungees to me.

I put pieces of L-Track on the front and back edges of the platform on our 6.0 and used ratchet straps to secure items.

I sent the image you posted to her. We were talking about 2x24 inches.
