I spoke with a Top Stitch rep last week about placing an order for a replacement tent and also asked about the cover.  They currently do not sell them but she indicated that they will be available soon.

Thanks.  I will check it out.

One of the zippers on the door of my QS 8.0 is broken.  Looking at the door from the outside it is the zipper on the left side.  The teeth of the zipper are separated all the way from the top to the bottom and there doesn't seem to be any way to push the bottom of the two ends together since the pull is facing the opposite direction.  On my last trip I just used a couple of small clamps to hold the two sides of the door together.  Anybody else have a problem like this?  Solution?

This camper has caught my eye as well.  Well-built, easy to tow, good design, and looks like it could fit in a standard-sized garage with no problem.

I camped in my 8.0 in middle TN over the New Year's weekend.  The second night the low temps went down to the single digits.  I kept my space heater running and I was comfortable under the electric blanket.  Interesting observation when I was packing up-- under the bunk mattress I had a 2-inch foam rubber cushion.  When I went to pick up the foam rubber cushion I found that it was stuck to the bunk because the condensation had frozen.  Never dealt with frost on the inside before.

You might want to get a small dehumidifier to deal with the inside moisture that builds up- especially during cold camping.  Several decent small models are available for under $100

Just one more example of LL not supporting their customers.  This site is now my "go to" place for information.

After I flip over and secure the bunks, I unfold the tent and loosen up the bimini poles a bit since they usually are compressed down when folded.  To unfold the tent, I grab one end from the side of the camper and walk it back to the end "fluffing it up" so to speak as I go and pull it back with both hands.  I quickly fasten one snap on a corner and then another snap on the other corner.  Then I raise up the other half of the tent and fasten a snap to hold it in place.

Best wishes on selling your 8.0.

I usually solo camp as well and I went in the opposite direction-- had a 6.0 and went to an 8.0.  I sold my 6.0 on Craigslist (for a few hundred more than what I paid for in back in 2012) and found my 8.0 also on Craigslist.  So far the solo set up on the 8.0 has not been a problem, but it would be a smoother operation with an extra set of hands.

Don't forget to sprinkle some cinnamon on it.

I went to the Atlanta RV show this past weekend and several of these were on display.  I was impressed with the pull-out kitchen.

I usually solo camp and I felt that the table just took up too much room.  The table is in my garage right now- instead I use a small folding table just right for one or two.  I also noticed that the cushions do not stay in place very well on the bench seats.  Many times I put both bottom cushions on the bench near the door and use the bare bench next to the kitchen for my small dorm-sized fridge and other supplies.

Here is a more recent article on this issue that gives additional insight on what the new management has planned for the LL brand.

http://www.truckcampermagazine.com/news/k-z-returns-to-truck-campers-with-livinlite/

At one point in the article, the pledge to maintain the "all aluminum/no-wood" LL standard is emphasized.  Further down in the same article it is explained that there will be a wood option for those dealers/customers who want that feature for the interior cabinetry.  If most customers opt for the wood option it may become the new standard.

We'll see how this develops.

RVB magazine recently included a lengthy article interviewing several persons in leadership at K.Z. Inc., a Shipshewana, Ind.-based subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc.  K.Z. now manages Livin Lite.   The article concludes with the following quote from Marlene Snyder, K-Z Vice Pres. of Sales & Marketing:

RVB: And, finally, is there anything you'd care to reveal regarding upcoming product debuts at the Elkhart RV Open House or Louisville Show?
Snyder: I have to be careful here; I don't want to spill too many beans, but at this year's Open House K-Z will be debuting 29 new floorplans and Venture will have eight. And it's safe to say that Livin' Lite will essentially be completely retooled and reinvented, yet stay true to its all-aluminum roots.   think it's fair to say that dealers aren't going to be disappointed in the changes that are coming. We've touched every single brand within the K-Z, Venture and Livin' Lite families, and the changes make us even more competitive in the marketplace. It will be, hands down, the best product we've ever offered.

The entire article can be found here:
https://www.livinlite.com/news/2016/RV-Business-July-August-2016-Livin-Lite-Conversations.pdf

As part of this effort, the article states that K.Z. reached out to numerous RV vendors seeking their input about the Livin Lite brand.  It was not clear from my reading of the article if similar input was sought from LL's customer base.
